WELCOME!!! I am so happy you are here.

Allow me to re-introduce myself! You may know from the past or you may be brand spanking new here. My name is Brenda Upton and I have been a photographer in the Atlanta area since 2007.

I know…sooo much has changed in the last 15 years with the world and the same is true for my life.

When I started my business way back when, I was newly married and childless. I decided to use my given name as my business name because, well, that’s just what most people did! Over the next few years there were lots of highs (Business was booming!! My daughter Bailey was born!!) and several lows (Marriage didn’t work out. Business slowly became on the back burner as I struggled as a single mom). That’s the short and sweet of what brings us here today.

The past few years I became complacent while working for other companies and no longer having the time to invest in myself and my brand. I just needed a big boost. A boost that would wake me up and take me back to that 2007 energy I had when everything was exciting and taking off.

Well I’m back baby! Same awesome me…different business name.

Allison Day is to Brenda Upton what Sasha Fierce is to Beyonce! (You millennials will get that alter ego throw back). Allison is my middle name and Day is my daughter Bailey’s middle name. I also recently and unfortunately found out it’s also the name of a youtube character from a very cringey show…but hopefully that will just fade away over the years…haha.

I am SO freakin’ happy to kick this thing off and ROLL OUT! ROLL OUT! (luda bumpin’ in my head).
